The area behind the 13th green marked by white lines is Ground Under Repair (GUR) and a No Play Zone (NPZ). Play from this area is prohibited and free relief must be taken in accordance with Rule 16.1f.
If your ball is in a NPZ, or you are going to stand in one, or your swing will hit something in the NPZ when making your stroke, you must take relief.
Relief is taken by dropping your ball within one club-length of your nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole. Alternatively, you may take relief in the Drop Zone to the right, which is marked with blue paint.
The penalty for playing your ball from a wrong place in breach of Rule 16.1 is the general penalty (two strokes in stroke play or loss of hole in match play).
If your ball finishes in the NPZ on 13, we ask that you please be very careful collecting your ball as there is an open trench.
